Ninjas have always been considered to be worriers and the main mission of them is to execute responsible and dangerous missions. The combination of fighting skills and perfect use of weapons helped ninjas target and attack an enemy. The weapons of ninjas are rather popular nowadays and the main weapon that was used by ninjas to train their skills is called nunchaku. It is represented by two sticks that are connected with a chain or a rope.
You should also know that nunchaku was not used as a weapon first and it was the main tool to help peasants to separate the grain and rusk of rice. The original nunchaku was made of two wood sticks and a horse hair rope. Today, ninja nunchaku can be made of any hard material, metal or wood. The rope can be made of nylon or may represent a metal chain as well. 
Ninja nunchaku is considered to be an individual weapon as the size of it should be tailored considering the abilities of a user. In addition, ninjas turned the original nunchaku into a round-shaped stick with a chain to cause as much harm as possible. At the same time, there are certain requirements to ninja nunchaku as they need to be properly balanced and the length of each stick should not be more than the length of the forearm of a user.
It is a well-known fact that ninjas are masters of fighting techniques and such weapons as nunchaku help them fight within a close range of the enemy. There are also mini nunchaku that are called mini chucks and the size of them cannot exceed eight inches. They are more convenient to use and provides a ninja with the needed speed when attacking an enemy.
