One of the most popular weapons used by Ninjas is Shuriken and those people who have an intention to become a Ninja are dreaming of learning how to use it. In other words, you can also know them as throwing stars that can be presented in various forms.
The first throwing stars were made from things you can find around. Coins and nails could be used to make this mortal weapon. But, firstly, Shurikens were not considered to be the main weapon to use and they served as a weapon that could increase the productivity of the primary weapon called the katana or the sword. That is why the main purpose of using Shuriken is to distract the attention of an opponent. Shurikens are generally included into a category of throwing guns. In some cases, these starts could be used as components of booby traps and could cause a lot of injuries to enemies at the same time.
To get better results, Ninjas used to cover Shurikens with poison and leave it on the ground so that an enemy could cut himself. One of the advantages of this weapon is that it can easily be hidden and a Ninja could approach an enemy as close as possible. Besides, using Shurikens does not cause any noise and a Ninja could disappear without being noticed. It is a perfect weapon if you want to attack your enemy without alerting others.
Modern Shuriken look differently and they are more refined. In most cases, they will be represented as throwing stars having a circular form with sharp edges. The demand for this weapon is increased as manufacturers are trying to think over new forms of Shurikens. But you need to know the regulations of the state you are living in as some states consider the weapon to be illegal.
